CTPAT

CTPAT STATEMENT OF SUPPORT

The Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism program (CTPAT) is a voluntary, public-private sector partnership between both the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Customs and Border Protection Agency (CBP) and private companies, such as importers, carriers, consolidators, licensed customs brokers, and manufacturers. The program seeks to increase international supply-chain security measures regarding criminal activities such as drug trafficking, theft, terrorism, human smuggling, illegal contraband and trade-based money laundering (TBML). Tricar Sales has been a fully-compliant member in good standing since our initial certification by the program in 11/21/2006.

The CTPAT program enjoys the strongest support from Tricar Sales most senior management, and our employees comply with its security criteria and all related internal policies, procedures, and instructions. Throughout the year we work to see that Tricar Sales compliance with the program stays current, effective and focused on continuous improvement in both our own and our business partner’s supply chain security.

We strongly encourage our business partners to identify security gaps, and implement specific security measures and best practices, either through the CTPAT program or the Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) program in their own country. As a result, your company may also enjoy other cross-border benefits of the program such as reduced Customs hold times and border-crossing delays.
Security is everyone’s business.

Through CTPAT the CBP works with businesses (‘Trade’) to ensure the integrity of their security practices in areas such as:
-Access Control
-Agricultural Procedures
-Business Partners
-Conveyance Security
-Cyber-security
-Personnel Security
-Physical Security
-Procedural Security
-Security Awareness Training
-Trade-Based Money Laundering
-Upper Management Responsibility
-Wood Packaging Materials, Pallets (Agricultural Practices)
